Nicola Price
Practice Director
As the Practice Director at Six Wands Aspects Limited, Nicola brings a wealth of industry experience to the table. With years of experience at board level with Small and Medium-sized businesses (SMEs), she established the company in 2017.
Her portfolio includes business acquisitions, business development, leadership, strategic planning, system implementation, inventory control, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and tax planning for corporations, sole traders, and partnerships. Nicola's expertise extends across a range of industries, including manufacturing, Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), retail, hospitality, and pharmacy.
Nicola's leadership has shaped the ethos and mission of Six Wands. She believes that listening to clients' needs and being approachable are key to ensuring their success. With her experience in accountancy and business, Nicola is dedicated to supporting our clients in achieving their goals.
Our clients appreciate Nicola's guidance and mentorship, which extends beyond the usual annual meetings. She is always available to answer any queries or assist with business planning.
Julie Detheridge
Lead Bookkeeper
Julie is a Xero Certified, Level Four Qualified Bookkeeper and a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. She also specialises in Sole Trader Self-Assessment Tax.
Since joining Six Wands Aspects in September 2021, Julie has had the opportunity the work with a diverse range of clients. She is responsible for processing day-to-day bookkeeping, conducting bank reconciliations, and regularly liaising with clients to request necessary information. By doing so, she ensures that our client's accounts are continually maintained and up-to-date.
Julie's strengths include the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines, paying close attention to detail, and building effective client relationships. She is experienced in working both remotely and on-site, providing flexible support to our clients when they need it most.
Lesley Tipper
Bookkeeper
Lesley's accounting experience began as an accounts assistant in the 1980s using handwritten ledgers. She then moved onto a microcomputer which was cutting edge at the time! Over the years she worked her way up to Office Manager and then General Manager, gaining experience in all aspects of running a business.
After retiring early in July 2021, Julie joined the team at Six Wands Aspects in March 2022. As a Xero Certified Advisor, her responsibilities include processing sales and purchase invoices, as well as conducting bank reconciliations, to ensure our clients' accounts are maintained accurately and efficiently.
